1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Ember Calligraphy website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website or services.

2. Services Offered

Ember Calligraphy provides a range of services including calligraphy workshops for various skill levels, corporate team-building events, bespoke commission work (invitations, certificates), private tuition, and online learning modules. 3. Workshop Bookings and Cancellations

• Booking: All workshop bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
• Cancellations by Participant:
  • Cancellations made 14 days or more before the workshop date will receive a full refund or transfer to another date.
  • Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the workshop date will receive a 50% refund or transfer to another date, subject to a £20 administration fee.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the workshop date are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Cancellations by Ember Calligraphy: In the rare event Ember Calligraphy must cancel a workshop, participants will be notified as soon as possible and offered a full refund or transfer to another workshop date.

4. Commissioned Work

For bespoke commission work, a detailed quote and contract will be provided. A non-refundable deposit (typically 50% of the total fee) is required to secure the booking and commence work. Final payment is due upon completion and before delivery. Revisions are subject to the terms outlined in the individual contract.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including texts, graphics, logos, images, and workshop materials, is the property of Ember Calligraphy or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without explicit written permission.

6. User Conduct

You agree to use our website and services only for lawful purposes. You must not use our services to transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

7. Limitation of Liability

Ember Calligraphy will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site or from any information, content, materials, products, or services included on or otherwise made available to you through this site, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or related to the use of our services.
